Accessibility Statement

Offaly Tourism is committed to improving its website accessibility, and to ensuring its services are accessible to all. We encourage feedback from website users.

We have designed the entire site to use stylesheets which are screen reader friendly. We have adopted a less cluttered, more consistent navigation methodology throughout the site. The use of colour, breadcrumbs and links back to main sections allows for easier navigation. Staff developing the site have attended courses on web design for accessibility and have liaised with disability bodies in the design.   We aim to make this website accessible to everybody, and we are working towards making this website conform to the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (W3C website) to "AA" standard.

Though this site is monitored on a regular basis and accessibility is an important part of every new development it is not possible to predict every possible difficulty a user might have in accessing information on the site. Therefore please let us know if you encounter any problems by please contact us at tourism@visitoffaly.ie.
