Festival Edenderry

Festival Edenderry is back for 2022.

Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd July.

This will be the 4th year of the festival and its not to be missed.

This years Festival will be officially opened by Pamela Uba, Miss Ireland 2021. Pamela who is a front line worker, will lead a parade of Champions featuring winners in all sports and activities who will proudly carry their trophies. A special place of honour in the parade will be reserved for frontline workers from all the services which kept our country going throughout the Covid Pandemic.

An exciting addition to this year’s Festival will be the presence of Comic-con characters. All dressed in their amazing costumes, they will be seen running through the streets interacting with the children for play and selfies. There will also have an exhibition centre in the town packed with sensational exhibits from the world of Superheroes.

Once again, the busking competition will take place with a first prize of €1000 and runners up prizes of €100 each.

2019 winner, Tia Burke, got to play a spot in The electric Picnic shortly after her win. Tia will make a guest appearance during this year’s event.

A dedicated children’s day on Sunday July 3rd. will once again feature fairground rides, magic shows, music and games and Paw Patrol which was such a huge success in 2019.

A full programme of events will be announced in the coming weeks.
