Nestled in the tree lined Oxmantown Mall, Birr Theatre & Arts Centre is a dedicated purpose-built theatre which dates from 1888.  in the late 90’s Birr Stage Guild lead the refurbishment of this Victorian building to its original glory with seating capacity for 220.

It is now a high-quality, fully equipped facility, which provides year-round entertainment in Birr and its surrounding area. The programme of events includes theatre, dance, comedy, music (classical, contemporary, folk, jazz etc) and a weekly cinema experience. The theatre is also involved with a number of Festivals.
