The 52nd Irish Hot Air Balloon Championships Tullamore 2024.
Saturday 21st to Friday 27th September 2024.
The Irish Hot Air Balloon Championships event takes place each year in the last week of September and for over 50 years has visited many different locations around the country including in recent years Waterford City, Lough Key, Boyle, Kilkenny Castle, Kells, Ballymahon, Trim and recently Tullamore County Offaly.
This spectacular event features up to 30 Hot Air Balloons and their crews from around the world. This year from the 21st to the 27th of September the aim is for the balloons to fly twice daily (morning & evening) from a location in the vicinity of the town creating an amazing and colourful spectacle for all to see as the balloons inflate and fly overhead.
