The Brosna River, Offaly’s fastest flowing river, has shaped communities, powered industry, and sustained ecosystems across its journey from Lough Owel to the Shannon. This evening event will explore its impact on Clara, including its hydro-industrial legacy, ecological role, and potential as a future community asset.
There will be on exhibit handmade lace and dolls, made by the women who partook in the six-week Creative Ireland Lace Making Workshops and a tapestry rug made by women who partook in a Collaborative Creative Ireland Workshop.
Light refreshments will be served.
This is a free event. Donations are welcome.
