Few bands have shaped the sound of modern music quite like Pink Floyd, and this November, Birr Theatre & Arts Centre invites you to experience that legacy brought thrillingly back to life. 

Visions of Floyd delivers the ultimate Pink Floyd tribute, performing a carefully curated selection of the band’s most iconic songs with all the scale, emotion, and psychedelic atmosphere that defined a truly legendary catalogue.

This is more than a covers night. It is a full, immersive concert experience, complete with the band’s own signature visuals, designed to transport audiences through the soaring soundscapes and timeless songwriting that made Pink Floyd one of the most influential acts in the history of rock.

At the heart of the show is founding member Ray Lanigan (vocals and guitar), a professional musician with over 30 years of experience who has toured internationally from Cairo to Canada and led the group through sell-out performances at the National Concert Hall and the Olympia Theatre. He is joined by Clifford Evans (bass), who brings 35 years of performance experience across Ireland, the Middle East, and North America, and who also draws on his work as a sound & light technician to create the visual spectacle that accompanies every show.

On keyboards, Declan Landy adds three decades of professional experience, including performances at London’s renowned 100 Club, alongside a successful songwriting career that has seen his work featured on RTÉ’s The Hit. Ken Mulligan (guitar and vocals), a classically trained guitarist with a background in music management, returned to the stage to bring both rhythm and lead guitar to the band, fuelled by a lifelong passion for Pink Floyd’s music. Anchoring the rhythm section is Mark Walsh (drums and percussion), whose 30-year career began with the Lucan Concert Band at the National Concert Hall and took in years on Dublin’s rock and indie scene.

Together, this ensemble recreates the unmistakable atmosphere of a Pink Floyd concert: the slow-building tension, the searing guitar solos, the lush vocal harmonies, and those instantly recognisable songs that have soundtracked the lives of generations. Expect the anthems and the deep cuts alike, performed with the precision, passion, and theatrical flair that the music deserves.
