About
Derryounce Lake covers approximately 40 acres and has excellent food supplies for brown and rainbow trout. The lake is owned by the community with input from Portarlington Angling Club. All visiting anglers are most welcome, and the lake is stocked periodically to ensure good sport all season.

Useful Information
Derryounce Lakes Fishery is fly fishing only, with no bait or spinning tactics permitted. Permit-only fishing.
- The lake season is open all year round but divided into Summer Season which has bag and size limits.
- Winter Season which is strictly catch and release.
- Permit required for Derryounce Lakes Fishery. Member cards and club subscriptions can be obtained from Portarlington Auto Parts, Main Street, Portarlington, R32ENK2.

Derryounce Lake is 2km outside Portarlington on the Edenderry road, so easily accessible from the town and the surrounding areas.
