About

Kinnitty is a wonderful heritage village located at the foothills of the Slieve Bloom Mountains in the south of Offaly. Surrounded by forests, walking trails and mountain scenery, it’s a popular destination for outdoor adventure and heritage exploration. The village is home to the historic Kinnitty Castle Hotel, a gothic revival castle set within mature woodland grounds. Attractions include the unique Kinnitty Pyramid, built in memory of Bernard family members. Kinnitty also serves as an important access point for the Slieve Bloom Way and Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike Trails, attracting walkers and cyclists throughout the year.
