What it’s all about
About

The exhibition explores how Falmouth Kearney emigrated from Moneygall in 1851 and traces the journey from this small Midlands community to the White House. Located near the village at the visitor centre in Barack Obama Plaza, the collection features photographs, memorabilia and interpretive displays celebrating the historic 2011 presidential visit and the wider Irish-American story. It offers visitors an engaging insight into local heritage and international connections shaped by migration and shared history.
