This year’s Offaly Libraries Comic Con beams into Tullamore Library on Saturday, 12th September, between 10:00am- 4:00pm and an action-packed day is planned.

Now in its seventh iteration, this fun and free family friendly event has become a staple of our library calendar since the first one materialized in 2019.

Visitors can look forward to a fantastic day of fun and discovery on Saturday, September 12th, with fan favourites including the Cosplay Competition, VEX Robotics, creative workshops, scavenger hunts, and the ever-popular Gaming Van all returning.

And that’s not all. We’re busy putting the finishing touches on some exciting new additions to this year’s programme, with more announcements coming soon.

Comics and graphic novels, sci-fi and fantasy, movies, novels, magic, creativity, imagination and fun will be the order of the day as viewers and readers, artists, cosplayers, and gamers come out in force to enjoy a spectacle of pop culture.
