Exploring The Auld Haggert Museum – Heritage Week

Step back in time at the Auld Haggert where you will discover up to 100 items of farm machinery on display. There are various forms of transport ranging from horse drawn to vintage motorised vehicles with lots of interesting stories behind each item in the collection.

Visitors can enjoy a traditional block-making demonstration on Wednesday, 19th and Sunday, 23rd from 3pm–6pm, offering an insight into traditional building practices and the skills that helped shape local communities.

The Auld Haggert is a farm museum in Horseleap, on the Offaly-Westmeath border.
