Saturday Afternoon Talk – Carl Wright

On Saturday afternoon we are delighted to welcome Carl Wright of Caher Bridge Garden, Co. Clare, for his talk Between a Rock and a Hard Place.
Carl will tell the story of the remarkable Caher Bridge Garden, which he began creating in 1999 — its development and history, the methods he has used, the problems encountered along the way and the ingenious solutions he has found to gardening in this extraordinary location.
Places for the talk are limited and must be booked in advance.
RHSI Members: FREE – Booking required
Non-Members: €20 – includes entry to the Open Weekend and Carl Wright’s talk
If you’re simply coming along to enjoy the Open Weekend, normal admission applies: free for RHSI Members and €8 for guests, online or at the gate.
Bumper Bellefield Plant Sale
Plant lovers, come prepared! Paul is clearing the decks before winter, which means a bumper plant sale across the weekend. There will be lots of Bellefield-grown plants and remaining stock looking for new homes, with some great bargains to be had. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
There will also be books for sale, plenty of gardening chat and time to relax over tea, coffee and homemade treats.
Open 11am–4pm both days
Free for RHSI Members
Guests €8 – book online or pay at the gate
Come for the gardens, stay for the talk and cake and go home with a boot full of plants!
