Through Our Eyes is a powerful photography exhibition created by young people from Offaly Traveller Movement, capturing the beauty of the natural world through their own unique perspective. Guided by acclaimed nature photographer Tina Claffey, participants explored local landscapes using only their mobile phones, discovering that creativity can flourish with curiosity rather than expensive equipment.
The exhibition celebrates the voices, talents, and lived experiences of Traveller youth while encouraging a deeper connection with nature, biodiversity, and place. Each image reflects moments of observation, wonder, and self-expression, inviting visitors to see familiar surroundings through fresh eyes. Through Our Eyes is a celebration of creativity, identity, and belonging, demonstrating the power of art to build confidence, challenge perceptions, and inspire meaningful connections between people, culture, and the environment.
