Meadhbh Walsh is a fiddle player, singer and songwriter whose rich vocals and evocative storytelling have already won her a devoted following around the world. She began busking on the streets of Killarney at just fourteen, and has since built a global community of more than 250,000 fans, drawn to her authenticity, her warmth and her magnetic presence on stage. 
Her music weaves timeless traditional melodies together with her own modern songwriting, rooted deep in heritage yet entirely her own. In 2024 her acclaimed album On My Own went straight to number one in Ireland, praised for its emotional honesty and originality, with more new music on the way. 
 From sold-out headline shows in London and Glasgow to performances across America, Dubai and beyond, and features on RTÉ, Irish Music Magazine and the Irish Independent, Meadhbh has quickly established herself as one of the finest live performers of her generation. 
She has shared stages and studios with some of the biggest names in Irish folk, and now she brings all that fire and feeling to the intimate surroundings of Birr Theatre.
